Ho cercato in quest’opera di offrire un materiale adatto a stimolare, a far crescere e a divertire gli esecutori cornisti e pianisti, i loro maestri e chi li ascolta.
Nella loro apparente semplicità questi “Piccoli Pezzi” sono molto ricchi di dettagli, di colori e di musica.
Le melodie, pensate con cura, sono immediate e caratteristiche, ed evocano gli stili della tradizione classica e della modernità.
12 Little Pieces for Little Recitals sono quindi un’opportunità per saggiare le qualità tecniche e musicali degli esecutori e, per gli esecutori, per imparare ad esprimere e a trasmettere queste qualità al pubblico.

In this work I have tried to offer a material suitable for stimulating, growing and entertaining horn players and pianists, their teachers and those who listen to them.
In their apparent simplicity these "Little Pieces" are very rich in details, colors and music. The carefully thought out melodies are immediate and characteristic, evoking the styles of classical tradition and modernity.
12 Little Pieces for Little Recitals are therefore an opportunity to test the technical and musical qualities of the performers and, for the performers, to learn how to express and transmit these qualities to the audience.
